Four steps, once
Authorize Impora with your Microsoft 365 account and scope it to a single OneDrive folder, no shared logins.
Choose the folder that owns the recurring file and the Airtable table it should feed.
Reuse saved field mapping, validation, and Airtable schema behavior, including linked records.
Impora checks the folder every 15 minutes and imports any new file automatically, or run it by hand.
A straight recommendation
OneDrive is often the simplest place to start, one person, one recurring file. It is worth being honest about where it fits and where a different Microsoft lane serves you better.
Reach for OneDrive when one operator owns a recurring spreadsheet and needs the same Airtable validation every week or month.
Name the owner, the folder, and a backup clearly so the workflow does not disappear when someone changes role.
Several departments, formal document control, or IT-managed permissions usually belong in the SharePoint lane.

The connector config
Every file is validated against your Airtable template before a single row is written, a OneDrive folder gets exactly the same checks as a manual upload.
No, but it is often the simplest fit when one person owns a recurring file. If several departments or IT-managed permissions are involved, SharePoint is usually the stronger Microsoft lane.
You sign in once with your Microsoft 365 account and grant access to a single folder. There is no shared login, and you can revoke Impora from your Microsoft account at any time.
CSV and Excel files (.csv, .xlsx, .xls) are processed for import. Other file types in the folder are ignored rather than imported.
You choose. Turn on automatic import and Impora checks the folder every 15 minutes, importing any new file as it appears; or leave it manual and run the folder when you are ready.
Yes. Validation follows your saved Airtable template, including required fields, formats, select options, and linked-record behavior where configured.
Yes. Export and roundtrip connector modes can deposit files back to a connected OneDrive folder where configured.
